What style of photography do you offer?

My speciality is Wedding & Portrait Photography but no matter what my subject matter is I always bring a fun and relaxed approach. My style can very between formal and informal shots. I try to make a connection with my subjects and bring out their personality in the images I take. What does that mean? It means I don’t run around posing everyone, instead I become part of your day, a quiet observer of things. I capture the real, the candid, the natural.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. For weddings the deposit is €200. For portrait and on location shooting it is equivalent to the sitting fee or the first hour of an on location shoot.

Can I pay in stages?

For weddings payment in full for the day time rate is payable before the event date. Payment for the disk with the images or photobook is payable on delivery. After the payment of the initial deposit yes you can pay in stages at a rate that suits you.

Will you travel between different locations on the day? (i.e. from the hotel to another location for additional shots)?

Of course I will. Important note: Remember to allow travel time between each location when you are planning your day and considering how many hours you will require me.

How many digital images will I receive?

For weddings I will aim to give you all the images I take on the day usually 500+ images. I will do an initial run through the images and then provide you with as complete a picture of your day, including all the moments from the start of the day until I finish, including all the images for those spacial moments you might miss. All of the images are included on an initial disk as proofs and you can choose from that your favorites or the ones you want me to process for printing. For portrait photography I can send you all the images I take during the sitting as proofs for you to choose your favorites from. The number is not limited but will depend on the number of shots we take during the sitting.

Can we get to meet you before the big day?

Of course! I really love to meet with couples before they book me. It gives us a chance to have a proper chat, either over tea and cake or some people want to meet at a local pub or bar, which is totally cool too. I’m always game for tea/cake/beer/wine or whatever you fancy!

Do you carry back up equipment?

I always make sure I carry two cameras and a selection of lenses with me on the day in case anything happens or malfunctions. Another amazing thing is that the cameras I sue have dual card slots, which means I have an instant back up while I’m photographing. I’ve been using dual slots for a couple of years now and I still can’t get over how cool that is. That definitely puts my mind at rest. Should one of the cards corrupt, I have a backup. Where in Ireland do you travel?

Going for long drives is my second favorite hobby. Don’t be worried about where you are. Give me a call and if we make the connection and you are happy that I am a good fit for you then I will there for you on the day!
